Thinking Ahead Breakfast Seminar (TABS)
Melbourne | 21 March 2023
Designed as a series of rapid-fire talks, our colleagues, including Marisa Hall, Roger Urwin and Tim Hodgson, will cover the ‘best of’ the Institute’s research.
How do you survive a polycrisis? Can you thrive in one? Some questions are just too big for simple and straightforward answers. Our approach at the Thinking Ahead Institute is to pursue multiple strands simultaneously. The macro strand is about better understanding the system and its likely dynamics. The meso strand includes industry-level answers to questions such as what is our collective duty in a poly-crisis? How do we collaborate effectively? And, how do we exercise our aggregate stewardship responsibility? The micro stand is about the changes we can make within our individual organisations. We were delighted to have you at the 2023 Thinking Ahead Breakfast Seminars in Sydney and Melbourne. In a series of short presentations, we presented the ‘best of’ the Thinking Ahead Institute’s research and allowed space for questions and discussion.
Topics include:
- Systemic risk has grown up, so must risk management
- Rent collection is dead, long live stewardship
- Superteams and how to work effectively in a WFA world
- Measurement 2.0: a balanced scorecard case study
- From DC to retirement provision: a member case study
We believe these events are highly thought-provoking and engaging, soliciting new perspectives from a range of participants.
