2020 events agenda

After careful consideration and an abundance of caution about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to postpone all Institute events for the time being. We have made this decision to put the health of our members, valued guests and colleagues first, and to minimise their risk of exposure to the virus.
We will be back in touch with you via email and update details on this page once we have the new plans in place.
In the meantime we will still be keeping in touch with our members directly, and anyone is welcome to request access to our friends of the Institute quarterly newsletter, or follow our thinking by joining us on Twitter or LinkedIn.

Deep dive workshops

These subject specific, deep-dive technical sessions provide members with priority access to our latest research.  Featuring world-renowned academics, investment practitioners and keynote speakers, these workshops are designed with the aim of sharing practical ideas to improve organisational effectiveness, investment strategy and societal legitimacy. Members are invited to co-create content for these sessions and share these with other asset owners and asset managers.

Breakfast briefings

Our public forum breakfast briefings feature the ‘best of’ the Institute’s research. Designed as a series of easily digestible, rapid-fire talks from our top researchers, these open events encourage networking while allowing us to exchange ideas with a wider audience. It is also a great opportunity to network and ask tough questions of the Thinking Ahead research team or our guest speakers from Willis Towers Watson.

Dinner debates
For our members only, these tailored dinners are designed with high engagement in mind. Alongside Willis Towers Watson’s manager research team, we will explore the best of TAI’s research, with topics pre-agreed by attendees. These dinners provide a great opportunity for us to exchange ideas and focus on practical implementation routes.
